Sell Ebooks and Make Money Online To Our Best Websites

You’ll find the step-by-step blueprint on how to create, market, and sell ebooks online in the rest of this blog post…

Before you even think about creating a web site to sell ebooks, you need to start from the very beginning. In other words, you need to know who are the people that you want to serve and why.

What Do People Want Online?

Before you go off and build that ebook-selling website, find out first what people want. Some people want more of something (i.e., how to save more time, how to have more money, how to get a loan, how to have more hair, how to get more sleep), or less of another thing (i.e., how to get rid of pain, how to remove a stain, how to lose weight).

Get a sheet of paper and write down the things that you think people want. Just quickly list them all down. After you’ve come up with a list of 50 items, that’s the time you evaluate each one.

As you go down the list, check those topics that you are interested in. Among those, check again those which you can write 30 articles about.

Eventually, you’ll have items with two check marks. Those are the topics that you will focus on. It will help if you rank those remaining items in the order of your interest and passion. Remember, you will need to write 30 articles (around 400 words each) about that topic, so it helps if your interest level is high.

I don’t quite subscribe to the notion that financial issues will force you to be interested enough to write 30 articles about any topic. Believe me, if you just force yourself to write, it will show. And your readers will quickly pick up those vibes.

Remember, we’re talking about selling ebooks online. If you are unable to connect with your readers, the chances of successfully selling the ebook and making money online will be pretty slim.

Wait… it’s not as much “connecting” with your readers as it is with helping your ready-to-buy readers go ahead with their decision to purchase the ebook online.

Believe it or not, but there are lots of people who are already on the verge of buying an ebook, but are searching the web for that tipping point or final push. They’re looking for your opinion and assurance that things will be all right, and that they should go ahead and get that ebook they’ve been itching to get these past few days.

So please target those double-checked topics that you are interested in and even passionate about. If you’re interested about something, there are others who are just like you. Reach out to them.

Ebooks: Create Your Own or Resell One

If you are a fast writer, you can use free software  to produce ebooks in PDF format. If you want to be even faster, you can also resell pre-written ebooks.

In $50 Daily Challenge: 50 Dollars a Day in 14 Days, you’ll read about Jani Ghaffor’s $50 Daily Challenge. In that video series, Jani shares a number of sites where you can order pre-written ebooks.

With your list of hot topics, you simply need to visit those sites offering master resale or even ebook resell rights, and choose the ebooks that will appeal to the people you want to serve online.

You can also visit places such as Bigplanners.com and Picmoney.com to see what ebooks are being sold, and sign up as an affiliate for those products. Once again, choose products that you think your target market will buy. Go ahead and visit the ebook salespage and ask yourself if it is compelling enough to convince and motivate others to buy.

Okay… if you know whom you want to serve, and have the ebooks that they are willing and able to buy online, the next step is to create your web site.

Create Your Ebook-Selling Website

Think of a domain name (i.e., Google.com) that makes sense from the point of view of the people you want to serve online. For example, if you are targeting people who want to have more money, then a domain name which contains phrases such as “make money” or “money online” will make sense.

For example, when your target market visits a search engine and types in “how to make money online” and then they see your web site in the search engine results, do you think they will click and visit it if it looks like? Of course they would! So choose your dot com domain name.

Next, sign up for web hosting. I recommend you go for the annual webhosting package that gives you SEO WordPress webhosting

It is highly affordable, and you do not need to go for dedicated server webhosting or even virtual private servers immediately. Starting off with shared hosting is perfectly fine.

When you use that link and go for the annual package a friendly group of techies will set-up one SEO’d WordPress blog for you and make sure it is search engine friendly, so that you can attract and maximize the number of visitors coming in from the search engines.

TIP: Search engine traffic is one of the most profitable sources of traffic your site will attract.

No need to spend too much time learning about search engine optimization right now because it will be done for you by those techies. Later on, when you have more time, you can learn about SEO. In the meantime, get the SEO WordPress annual webhosting package and get started right away.

Your site will be a hybrid or combination site. A folder in your site will contain your blog, where you will post those 30 articles mentioned earlier in this blog post. This will help attract more traffic to your web site, which you can then funnel to the other folders in your site.

The other folders in your site can contain the sales letters of the pre-written ebooks whose master resell rights you acquired. You can also publish your review of ebooks, include your Clickbank or Picmoney.com affiliate link, and earn affiliate commissions.

The wonderful thing about affiliate marketing is that you do not need to set-up your online payment system immediately. It’s the merchant who does that, and all you need to do as far as payments are concerned is to either have a Paypal account or a mailing address (where the checks will be sent).

In terms of speed, affiliate marketing systems will allow you to get your funds quickly. On the other hand, newbie’s have experienced that it takes quite a while before your commissions roll in, because you need to attract a considerable amount of traffic to your product review pages.

Some people do a set-and-forget approach, where they quickly build sites that review several ebooks. When they revisit their sites months down the road, they are surprised to discover that several commissions came in, even if they hadn’t updated their sites in many months.

Now some insiders have shared that various search engines are going to “ignore” thin affiliate sites. These are sites that basically contain WebPages whose sole purpose is to get readers to click on over to the merchant sites, via an affiliate referral link. If you’re planning to create a product review site using so-so articles, your site will have a difficult time ranking well in the search engines.

You don’t have to write like Hemingway, though. I’ve seen several product review sites that feature Picmoney.com ebooks, and each review article on that site contains 250 to 300 words only.

Does Junk has your computer sunk and needing Home computer repair?

Sometimes it is even used to report information about you, like what Web sites you are viewing, and then transmitting this information back to their server on the Internet.

I\’m talking about spyware, junk that affects your home computer repair by installing programs that slow down your operating system, usually without your knowledge or permission. So what exactly is spyware? Spyware is software components hidden in other software. So now that we\’ve discussed what spyware is and how you can get it, let\’s talk about how to prevent it. The easiest and most simplistic thing you should do is disconnect your modem when it\’s not in use.

Fortunately, there are several free programs that you can download, that when used simultaneously, can be very efficient; programs like Lavasoft\’s Ad-Aware, Hi Jack This, and Spybot Search & Destroy. And, in case the spyware is difficult to remove, as in the case of a particular program called “Cool Web Search,” that takes control of your homepage and then implants Trojans within it, you will have to manually remove it by using CWS Shredder, a specific program designed to shred this particularly difficult spyware.

It\’s used primarily by companies who aim to advertise their products on your home computer repair. After this information is transmitted, your home computer repair is targeted with specific pop up ads, linking you to specific products promoted by these larger companies. By using spyware, they are able to install their own programs or they attach themselves, like parasites, to Internet Explorer (IE), in hopes that you will click on one of their pop up ads, directing you to their homepage.

No Downloading was done!

Right. No one would knowingly download a program that monitors his/her actions like Big Brother. Spyware components are hidden in software that you would download, like free game programs from mainstream companies. Thus, when you install the program, you\’re also unknowingly installing spyware. Another way people are fooled into downloading spyware are by clicking what they think to be a Window\’s error message.

Tactics Prevention

Furthermore, whether you have Windows XP or another operating system, there are free programs like Spyware Blaster and Spyware Blocker that can be downloaded to list potentially harmful sites that can be added to your restricted area, while preventing personal information from being transmitted over the Internet. The message is actually a pop up window containing spyware waiting to be clicked on so it can begin installing itself into your home computer repair.

This will prevent certain spyware components from enabling your modem to dial long distance numbers. If you have Windows XP, Service Pack 2 should be installed because it patches many of IE\’s security holes. This program contains a welcome pop up blocker and a new add-on manager that allows you to disable unnecessary programs opened while using IE. IE also has a special security feature that enables you to categorize sites as either Internet, local Intranet, restricted, or trusted. If you categorize the sites you visit, especially sites in the restricted section, IE will prevent the sites from harming your home computer repair. Additionally, Windows also offers firewall protection against malicious sites. And, in addition to downloading and clicking disguised messages, there\’s yet two more common ways it can be installed: by visiting maliciously encoded Web pages and in email programs like Microsoft Outlook who use HTML script that can also be maliciously encoded.

Strategies for removal

Compare the programs and whatever programs are leftover on the list you made from when you rebooted your home computer repair, aside from anti-viral software, are probably ad-on applications created by spyware. To double check that these programs are caused by spyware, you can visit the Library, to research them.

So, if you just remember to disconnect your modem when it\’s not in use, keep your anti-virus programs current, utilize the Internet\’s safety features along with your home computer repair system\’s firewalls, and download or purchase spyware removal programs, your home computer repair should run a lot smoother.

The first thing you need to do is locate spyware. One way you can do this is by turning your home computer repair on in Safe Mode, then pressing CTRL+ALT+Delete to view the Task Manager. Once you see the Task Manager, click on the “Processes” tab and jot down the programs you see. Next, reboot your home computer repair and press CTRL+ALT+Delete again and write down the programs from the same section.

Thunderbird IMAP:Setting up Thunderbird Email with IMAP Protocol

How to Set Up IMAP Protocol Email Accounts on the Thunderbird Email ProgramThere are some benefits to setting up IMAP email accounts as opposed to POP protocol accounts on your Thunderbird email program or whatever email program you happening to be using such as Outlook. IMAP allows you the versatility of synching your email whether you are sending or receiving via a webmail login such as http://tutorialref.com/webmail (which is where this site’swebmail program is located since this one is hosted on bluehost.com) or whether you sending or receiving via an email program. For instance, you can have Thunderbird set up at home and at work and if you have set up your email account on both to use the IMAP protocol then your sent and received emails will be synched. It’s convenient. You always have the option of downloading your emails to your local computer but then you’ll lose that capability of synching since the two computer (the one at home and the one at work) is synched by the servers. One of the drawbacks to utilizing IMAP is that it does take up disk space on your server.Seek for a web hosting company that allows you plenty of disk space since disk space is inexpensive these days. There is one other drawback (at least for those of us on bluehost) which is mentioned below. When there are several email accounts set to use the IMAP protocol and the email accounts are set to check to the server for new emails at a greater frequency, say, 30 minutes this can result in 500 error pages. The only way is to kill the process Ids which I will show later using Cpanel. But I’m getting ahead of myself so let’s show you how to set up your Thunderbird email account using IMAP.1. First, download the Thunderbird program at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/. It’s a free and robust program and works well with Vista, XP, Mac OSX and Linux and in several languages. What more could you ask for?2. Open the program. Click on “Tools” then “Account Settings” in the Menu Bar at the top of the program.3. In the “Account Settings” click on the “Add Account…” button on the left-hand side.4. A window titled “Account Wizard” will display. Simply click the “Next” button.5. Type your name and email address in the appropriate fields then click the “Next” button.6. IMPORTANT: Select the “IMAP” setting rather than the “POP” setting. In the “Incoming Mail Server” field type “mail.tutorialref.com” (without the quotes). You may have to contact your server administrator to obtain your incoming mail server. Then click the “Next” button.7. In the “Incoming User Name:” field type in your email address then click the “Next” button.8. In the “Account Name” field type in your email address then click on the “Next” button.9. Click the “Finish” button.10. Highlight your email address by clicking on the it which is visible in the left-hand side of the window.11. Click on “Server Settings” then change the value from “10″ to “30″ in for the field “Check for new messages every”. I now found out that if you are a server administrative set this to a much higher value such as “360″ which means check for new messages every 6 hours rather than every 30 minutes. The reason is that (for some reason) there tends to be many imap processes running and they tend to linger around. This in a linux system (which I believe is Centos). I found this out with one of my web hosting accounts with bluehost.com.If you set up many email addresses as I did for one client of mine the mail servers were being checked for new messages every 30 minutes and the result was many process Ids that ended up on occassion triggering the server to display all accounts (all web sites) associated with this web hosting account to display 500 error pages. There is a resolution to this problem on the site located under Cpanel tutorials.Alternatively, you can probably set up a separate mail server on a separate domain but a tutorial for another day. If your clients wish then can manually check for their emails. I would only set the field “Check for new message every” to 30 for those individuals that really need and cannot be bothered by checking for new messages manually. This is just a forewarning if you set this field value too low.12. Click on “Composition & Addressing” which is a sub-section. Click on the drop-down menu below the line “Automatically quote the original message when replying” as illustrated. Then select “start my reply above the quote.”13. Now click on “Offline & Disk Space” in the left-hand side. Checkmark “Make the messages in my Inbox available when I am working offline” and “When I create new folders, select them for offline use” as illustrated.14. Click on the “Junk Settings” on the left-hand side. Checkmark “Trust junk mail headers set by”. You may leave it select at “SpamAssassin”. And checkmark “Move new junk messages to:” Leave the rest at default settings.15. In the left-hand side scroll down and select “Outgoing Server (SMTP)”. Then on the right-hand side near the top click on the “Add” button as illustrated.16. Do the following:i. In the “Server name” field type “mail.tutorialref.com”. On some servers the outgoing mail server is different. I find this to be the case with home ISP. Contact your server administrator for this information if are you uncertain.Ii. In the “Port” field type change the number to “26″. Most home ISP disable port 25 due to spam so port 26 is used.Iii. In the “User name and password” field type in your email address. Then click the “OK” button.17. On the left-hand side, select your email address. You may have to use the scroll bar and scroll upwards. Then click on the drop-down menu as illustrated and select “[your email address] – mail.tutorialref.com”. Your selection will probably be something like “mail@tutorialref.com – mail.tutorialref.com”.18. Now you’ll be able to retrieve your messages. Click on “Inbox” for your email account. A box will display asking for your password. If the box does not display then simply click on the “Get Mail” button as illustrated.19. Sending email: when you send email from Thunderbird you may, at times, receive a display as follows. Simply click the “OK”. Create a new email message now to test if everything functions correctly. Send an email to yourself.20. The first time you attempt to send an email you will receive a display asking for your password. Type in your password and checkmark “Use Password Manager to remember this password”.21. Click the “Get Mail” button to test if you received your test message. The Thunderbird mail is a free, robust program that is suitable on mulitple platforms: Mac OSX, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux. There are also several useful plug-ins that allow much greater flexibility such as synching with Google Calendar. I’ll be posting more articles on the use of plug-ins in later articles.
